The Naniwa Standard whetstone 220 grit is the perfect choice when you need to sharpen a dull or damaged knife, especially if it has chips or similar damage. With its coarse grain size, it effectively removes material and restores a sharp edge and has a really good “bite.”
This whetstone is manufactured by Naniwa – one of Japan’s leading manufacturers of whetstones. It has a solid construction and an even grinding surface that ensures precise results every time. Perfect for chef’s knives, outdoor knives, and other cutting tools that need a powerful refresh.
It is recommended that you soak the stone in water for about 5 minutes before use.
